Vann Engineering, Inc., is a Geotechnical Engineering and Environmental Consulting firm that has provided low cost, high quality services in Arizona, New Mexico, Nevada, Colorado, Texas, Utah, and North Dakota since 1980. Vann Engineering, Inc. is deeply committed to providing high quality dependable services locally and regionally through our corporate office in Phoenix, Arizona.

 

We have participated in over 27,000 projects throughout the southwest. We have performed soils and construction materials testing and inspection on nearly half of these projects. These projects include public infrastructure, hospitals, single- and multi-family residential developments, offices, warehouses, light industrial complexes, schools, shopping centers, military facilities, churches, and cellular communications installations.

We have interacted with virtually all construction trades, and provided routine quality assurance and quality control services as well as special inspections and advanced geotechnical and construction materials recommendations. Our work has helped to address problems encountered by nearly all construction trades and design disciplines.

Vann Engineering, Inc.’s laboratory is under the technical supervision of a registered professional engineer. Our laboratory services include testing of concrete, masonry, soils, rock, aggregates, asphaltic concrete and fireproofing.

Our laboratory and procedures are accredited by the American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials (AASHTO) Materials Reference Laboratory (AASHTO RE:SOURCE) and Cement and Concrete Reference Laboratory (CCRL) and are performed according to American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM) procedures or equivalent AASHTO procedures. Our field technicians maintain American Concrete Institute (ACI) and Arizona Technical Testing Institute (ATTI) certifications. We abide by a thorough equipment maintenance/quality assurance program that requires strict staff qualifications, and regular equipment maintenance and calibration.
